Lubricants

The lubricant is a key parameter in the engine. The aim is to minimize the friction of the mechanical parts inside, so as not to create wear on these parts.

It also has the capacity to absorb the high temperatures of the portions penetrating, particularly in supercharged mechanical assembly, wherein the temperatures in the turbocharger reach a sufficiently high level.

Finally, the special chemical additives containing, cleans the engine from combustion residues, generated over time.

Since, however, each lubricant has a specific lifespan, by offering proper lubrication, each manufacturer shall, depending on the type of kinitira- when they should be replaced oils. On the other hand, the latest cars need oil changes, according to the manufacturer every 15,000 -and above- km, number that many seem normal to others too.
